Here is a partial list of travel information to get to the hotel, we’ll update this page as we collect more helpful information. There is a ride-share (and room-share) topic on the forum.

By Air:

Domestic Travelers: You will fly to Albuquerque International Sunport, airport code ABQ. For information about the airport visit: http://www.cabq.gov/airport/.

Flying to New Mexico. Albuquerque’s airport is the largest in the state and serves nearly six million passengers per year. Most U.S. based airlines operate direct flights into Albuquerque from a variety of major cities. Flights from New York City take about three and a half hours, from Los Angeles about 90 minutes and from Chicago, two hours.

To get from the airport to the hotel, go to baggage claim and find the Info Booth. Tell them you want the shuttle to the Sheraton Uptown on Lousiana Boulevard, and they will set it up for you. The shuttle is free.

International Travelers: Many international airlines fly to the Albuquerque airport.

By Car:

Drive to Albuquerque. The city lies at the crossroads of Interstates 40 and 25. The east-west I-40 runs between Los Angeles and Wilmington, North Carolina. The north-south I-25 runs between I-90 in Wyoming, through Denver to Juarez, Mexico. From Los Angeles, the drive is about 12 hours and from Denver about seven hours.

By Train:

Amtrak’s Southwest Chief line operates between Los Angeles and Chicago, with a stop in Albuquerque. The train operates daily in both directions. From Chicago, it takes approximately 26 hours and from Los Angeles, it takes approximately 16 hours. A wide variety of other Amtrak lines connect with the Southwest Chief, making it possible to travel to Albuquerque from many major cities.

To get from the train station to the hotel, find the Info Booth. Tell them you want the hotel shuttle to the Sheraton Uptown on Lousiana Boulevard, and they will set it up for you. The shuttle is free.

By Bus:

Greyhound has direct buses that operate to Albuquerque, from a number of cities in the U.S. The Greyhound station is located very near to the train station in downtown Albuquerque..

To get from the Greyhound bus station to the hotel, find the Info Booth. Tell them you want the hotel shuttle to the Sheraton Uptown on Lousiana Boulevard, and they will set it up for you. The shuttle is free.
