Pre-weekend Meet-up in the Hotel Lobby for Social Hour. We will belly up to the bar because the Hero of Canton gets the best whiskey in the house.

Our hospitality suite will be open all afternoon, and people are welcome to come hang out after handling registration. A variety of games will be available. If you’ve always wanted to learn some of the fun Firefly games, now’s your chance. This is alsothe perfect time to compare notes for various local activities and plan for a great Saturday.

We officially kick off the Browncoat Ball weekend with a welcome reception at The Centennial in the evening. We will provide tasty morsels for our Friday night crew (complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Gluten/vegan options will be available) and libations will be a cash bar. Various Firefly themed ice breaker games are planned including Firefly themed bingo and ’versy cosplay contest. Since it’s Halloween weekend, we will finish off the evening with Browncoat Trick or Treat!

In the morning, we can meet down in the lobby for the hot breakfast included in your room cost to plot and plan the day’s activities. There are also several breakfast options (for a fee) at the Promenade across the street.
