Join a train job, take a plane or the Metro to Union Station to the marvelous Washington Court Hotel for Browncoat Ball 2018, Aug 17-19, for a weekend of fun, enigmas, and mischief – all under the nose of trained Alliance Feds!   The DC Independence Brigade are please to have secured safe passage for crew for the entire weekend, even under the noses of Alliance!  (Turns out a few extra credits goes a long way.)  Upon check in you will receive your cover IDs, shipping manifest, and other goodies to start a whirlwind DC adventure! Over the weekend you can tour DCs many monuments under the cover of darkness, taste real food again, head out to the Buddhist Art exhibit with Inara, head to the Folger Shakespeare Library with Simon, get a free Library card for the Library of Congress with River, marvel over the rickety Air and Space travel with Wash, reflect on other sonsovbitches with statues with Jayne, discover African Art with Zoe, Earth Critters that were with Kaylee, or rediscover your faith with Book.

There’s too much to do and see but we’ll do our best to bring the best to you!  Along with plenty of down time to relax with crew, eating, drinking, and playing games.

Of course, Saturday night will feature the formal banquet/ball in the hotel’s majestic ballroom – costuming or fancy dress encouraged. There’ll be music, dancing, raffles, mysteries, and more! You’ll also be able to interrogate the buffet for yourself.  Mix and mingle with friends, old and new.
