Transportation
By Air
Fly directly into Portland International Airport (PDX) from anywhere in
the country. Once on the ground, there is no need to rent a car. Simply
hop onto MAX light rail for a safe easy ride downtown. It only takes about
½ hour and costs under $3. More about MAX transportation here.
By Train
Traveling from anywhere along the I-5 corridor? Consider Amtrak! The train drops you off downtown at Union Station. The brand new Portland Mall Light Rail will take you to any bus or MAX line that will in turn get you to your hotel in just minutes.
By Road
Portland is nestled at the intersection of Interstates 5 and 84. Talk to other folks in your area who are traveling to the Ball to set up a carpool.
Live in Town
Drive, bike, walk, bus, or MAX. Use whichever mode you works best for you!
Parking
Even if you are staying with us at the Governor, if you're driving, we recommend not using the hotel's parking and instead take advantage of SmartPark on SW 10th Ave between Yamhill and Morrison Streets. It's easy, safe, and economical with a daily maximum of only $12 (as of this writing).
