Vehicles travelling this road will be charged a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/zion\/planyourvisit\/fees.htm\">National Park Access Fee<\/a> ($35 per vehicle, $30 per motorcycle).  This is a 7-day National Park Pass and can be used for those going to Zion during their trip within 7 days of the purchase date. There is no fee IF you have a National Park Pass or an American the Beautiful Pass. Some libraries offer National Park Passes that you can \u201ccheck out\u201d like a book.<\/p>\n<div style=\"display: inline-block; background-color: #fff8e8; border-radius: 10px; border: 1px solid black; padding: .5em; margin-bottom: 1em; hyphens: none; width: 95%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 110%;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" draggable=\"false\" role=\"img\" class=\"emoji\" alt=\"\ud83d\udea8\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/svg\/1f6a8.svg\"><\/strong><\/span><em>&nbsp;<strong style=\"color: #882200;\">Rock Slide Alert!<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nFYI, for those driving to the Ball from Las Vegas or Saint George, be aware that due to some rock slides, the most direct drive along Route 9 may not be available. Right now the recommendation is to take the northern detour along Route 15 or the southern detour along Route 59. You&#8217;ll end up approaching the Ranch from the east through Orderville.<br \/>\nCheck the latest travel updates before you depart. The southern route is shorter but the northern route may be more scenic. Either way allow for extra time to get to there.
