No live firearms of any kind will be permitted at any activity hosted by the BCB.
The peacebonding of weapons will be handled by LAW officers or ‘deputized’ Registration Staff volunteers. This may be accomplished at the Marshall’s Office, next to Registration, or by a deputized member of the staff at the Hospitality Suite.
Ball participants will present their weapons at the time of registration/check-in or as soon afterwards as possible for peacebonding, which will be accomplished by zip-tying the weapon into its sheath or holster.
Individuals found wearing unbonded weapons or brandishing said weapons during the event are subject to the confiscation of their weapon for the duration of the event and may pick the confiscated weapon up from the Registration at checkout.
For the purposes of professional photography sessions on Saturday, a LAW officer will be present to remove the peacebond tie for said photographs and re-secure upon their completion.
Wearing or public display of weapons outside the designated Browncoat Ball areas will result in confiscation of the weapon in question for the duration of the event and may also result in arrest and civil or criminal penalties.
